The school will offer educational facilities as well as full board. The children will have a general education in reading, writing, mathematics, the sciences and art, but the emphasis will be on their religious education. This will include Tibetan Language skills and the memorising of the foundation texts that all monks must know by heart. The school will include a shrine room for their daily practice, classrooms, dormitories and a hall for sports and games. The hall will also be used by the Health Clinic for physiotherapeutical exercises and health programmes. |
